Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Marks Marine Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter client information into databases with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
  • Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Maintain prescription records and ensure that all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including ordering supplies and equipment, and scheduling appointments.
  • Assist health care professionals with various tasks, including maintaining supplies and performing general administrative duties.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
