Job Summary:

The Feed Mill Production Operator is a key member of our production team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a Feed Mill Production Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality animal feed.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production equipment to achieve daily production targets.
  • Monitor and control the production process to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Collect and test raw material and final product samples to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to ensure correct formulation.
  • Follow quality standards and ensure proper documentation for feed safety.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment an asset.
  • Ability to lift 25 kg.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
