Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Package Handler to join our team at FedEx. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient sorting and delivery of packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading Freight: Safely load and unload freight from vehicles, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Freight Sorting: Sort and organize packages in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that they are properly routed to their destination.
  • Operational Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and customers, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift 70 pounds and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 pounds with the use of appropriate equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Training and Development: Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrent training programs.
  • Language: Bilingualism (French and English) is required for candidates residing in the province of Quebec.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the past 24 months.
