Job Summary
Modix Plastique Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Keeper to manage all operations in the warehouse, ensuring safe custody and organization of all raw materials, supplies, finished products, purchased items, and other factory-related inventories.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and Shipping
- Oversee the receipt of shipments as required.
- Check goods and trucks/containers for damage or discrepancies.
- Record warehouse transactions in receiving and shipping.
- Order Fulfillment
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup.
- Supervise the loading of boxes.
- Inventory Management
- Conduct regular stock checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage of inventory.
- Warehouse Organization
- Coordinate with colleagues to prepare storage plans and supervise the movement of stock according to the plans.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and well-organized.
- Optimize space utilization.
- Safety and Maintenance
- Guarantee the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and follow all safety procedures and policies.
- Report and address workplace safety and health incidents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications (e.g., forklift license) are a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations (1-3 years).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or inventory management software and systems.
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and time management skills.
- High communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to speak French or English (bilingualism is preferred).
- Ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Highly reliable and consistent.
- Ability to physically bend and stand for extended periods.
- Background Checks (References, Criminal, and Medical) are a must.
