Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team in Oakville. As an Insurance Broker, your primary focus will be on new business generation, networking, and developing a profitable book of Personal/Commercial business through various cultivation practices and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through networking and sales efforts
  • Develop and maintain a profitable book of Personal/Commercial business
  • Service and maintain existing client relationships
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven sales track record in the insurance industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Personal Lines Sales
  • Self-starter with the ability to establish sales and retention goals
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship skills
  • RIBO License or ability to convert OTL to RIBO
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of computer skills, knowledge, and previous experience working with PowerBroker and Compu-quote
