Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Childcare Specialist to provide nurturing care for children in a home environment. This position involves ensuring the safety and well-being of children while supporting their developmental needs.
Employment Details- Employment Type: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Education:
- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (not a condition of employment)
- Work will be conducted in the employer's or client's home
- Change diapers and assist with toilet training
- Sterilize feeding bottles and prepare infant formulas
- Take full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Travel with the family and assist with child supervision
- Provide bathing, dressing, and feeding for infants and children
- Discipline children according to parental guidelines
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social skills
- Maintain records of daily activities and health information
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children
- Organize activities such as games and outings
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Prepare children for rest periods
- Supervise and care for children
- Attend to the emotional well-being of children
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Criminal record check
- Medical examination
- Public transportation is accessible

Previous experience in childcare is considered an asset.
