Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team at Specialized Marking Systems Ltd.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating flexographic presses and ensuring high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role.
  • Production Management: Prepare production schedules and estimate costs effectively.
  • Press Setup: Mount plates or cylinders, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Monitor regular press runs for quality using a computer control console.
  • Ink Management: Fill ink fountains and control color and viscosity to meet production needs.
  • Training: Instruct apprentices and direct the press crew in setup, operation, and shutdown procedures.
  • Maintenance: Remove and clean plates and cylinders at the end of each press run.
  • Finishing Equipment: Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment as required.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
