Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets in patient rooms
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to patients and staff
  • Stock linen closets and maintain inventory
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other high-touch areas
  • Clean and disinfect elevators and other equipment
  • Provide basic information to patients and staff about facilities and services
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
