Job Title: Agile Transformation Lead

Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking an experienced Agile Transformation Lead to drive organizational change and strategic priorities. As a seasoned professional with expertise in agile methodologies, you will lead the development and implementation of change management strategies, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to drive organizational transformation, leveraging agile methodologies to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to guide the organization towards agile methods, ensuring seamless integration with existing business processes.
  • Lead the propagation and implementation of agile practices throughout the organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Champion and communicate the value of an Agile transformation from a broad perspective, engaging both technology and business teams in the design process.
  • Build a leadership and accountability mindset at all levels, helping to develop and evolve the future vision of agility across the organization.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring of Agile/SAFe to all levels of the organization, facilitating capability assessments and providing recommendations for evolving the learning journeys of product leads, product owners, and scrum masters.
  • Design and deliver meaningful training to educate teams and leadership on the agile mindset, principles, and practices, ensuring a deep understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Assist internal clients to recruit, onboard, and deploy agile roles, ensuring a smooth transition to agile ways of working.
  • Define and measure agile maturity to support continuous improvement, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans for enterprise agility programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to coordinate and navigate the organization to guide senior executives towards agile methods, ensuring seamless integration with existing business processes.
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale transformations, leveraging agile methodologies to drive organizational change and strategic priorities.
  • Knowledge in organizational design, business agility, and agile leadership, with a deep understanding of agile methodologies and their application in a retail business context.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the agile mindset, share knowledge in agile, lean, and different frameworks/ways of working or implementation, and build organizational structures that help the evolution of high-performance teams.
  • Experience with SAFe and tools that help improve and optimize value streams, with a strong understanding of data analysis methods and reporting techniques.
  • Executive presence with exceptional influencing skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
  • Competence in using Jira, Confluence, and other analytical software tools, with a strong understanding of data analysis methods and reporting techniques.
  • Knowledge of the retail business is an asset, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
