About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Production Worker to join our team at MAVA Foods LTD. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our food processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of food safety awareness and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Material Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials as required.
  • Machinery Operation: Feed and unload processing machines, and assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
  • Quality Control: Check products and packaging for basic quality defects and report any issues to the relevant team members.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment and be exposed to odours.
  • Work Setting: Food and beverage plant.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and ability to work a 40-hour week.
