Job Title: Deputy Chief Executive Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Executive Officer to join our team at Pan Pacific Toronto.

Job Summary:

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for supporting the Chief Executive Officer in the overall strategy and direction of the organization. This includes allocating resources, coordinating work, and establishing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
Requirements:
  • More than 20 years of experience in a senior management position.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, stakeholders, and external partners.
