About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Town Autobody and Car Sales ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are returned to them in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic and Repair Work
    • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
    • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
    • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
    • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Customer Service
    • Discuss work with supervisor and customers
    • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
    • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of manual dexterity
    • Stand for extended periods and work in a variety of physical conditions
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and reliable with a strong attention to detail
    • Excellent client focus and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
