About the Role

PJB Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets and furniture pieces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts and components, and prepare specifications for custom-made cabinets.
  • Surface Preparation: Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools, and sand wooden surfaces to prepare for finishing.
  • Assembly and Finishing: Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units, and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards.
Work Environment

The Cabinetmaker will work in a millwork shop environment, with regular exposure to dust and noise. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with regular working hours.
