Key Responsibilities:

As a Meat Clerk at Country Grocer, you will play an essential role in assisting customers with their meat selections while providing exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with customers to help them find their desired meat products
  • Maintaining attractive displays and ensuring the meat department is clean and well-stocked
  • Participating in meat preparation tasks

Your attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction will enhance the shopping experience for all our patrons.

Qualifications:

  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs comfortably
  • Strong attention to detail, even during busy periods
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Dedication to providing outstanding customer service

Experience and Education:

  • Previous experience in a Meat Department is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Customer service experience is beneficial
  • Food Safe certification is a plus; we can assist you in obtaining this certification
