About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Analytics and Data Migration expert to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our AWS Fintech team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that support business objectives and improve decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of data integration and ETL processes using SAP BODS.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop, test, and maintain complex data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows from multiple data sources into SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Support data migration activities, including mapping, profiling, and loading data into SAP systems.
  • Work closely with the BI/Reporting teams to optimize data models for analytics and reporting purposes.
  • Provide expertise in SAP data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data integration, and ETL processes, with a focus on SAP BODS.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data migration methodologies.
  • Experience in SAP data models, especially within SAP ERP, SAP BW, and S/4HANA environments.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in SAP BODS or related SAP modules.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies.
