Job Title: Automotive Service Technician Apprentice

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at Eighty8 Alpha Automotive Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and repairing or replacing mechanical units or components. Additionally, the candidate will test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and perform scheduled maintenance service.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • or equivalent experience
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Tire, wheel and rim mechanic
  • Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician (Transmission) Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification
  • HVAC Certificate
