Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Determine the size of food portions and costs, plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, and prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
- Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
