About the Role:

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Financial Planner to join our team at Affinity Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans that meet the needs of our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive financial plans for our members, taking into account their individual goals and objectives.
• Provide expert guidance and support to our members on all aspects of financial planning, including investment and retirement planning.
• Utilize technology to deliver exceptional member experiences, drive sales growth, and retain business.
• Promote the interests of Affinity Credit Union through community outreach activities, generating new business opportunities and attracting new members.

What You'll Need:

• A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A financial planning designation (CFP, QAFP, or PFP).
• Mutual funds course (CSC, IFIC, or equivalent) and maintenance of registration eligibility.
• Successful completion of the Responsible Investment (RI) Course within 12 months of starting.
