We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Northern Rockies Lodge Ltd. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
- Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, exchange foreign currency, and process guests' departures.
- Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer service or front desk role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Front Desk Associate will work in a hotel environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused attitude.
