Job Title: Pedagogical Support

At the Early Childhood Development Association of PEI, we are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Pedagogical Support. This role is a vital part of our team, supporting the overall safety and well-being of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support various educators in documentation time, ensuring accurate and timely records are maintained.
  • Implement daily activities with children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Be willing to be flexible and move around the centre, responding to the needs of children and staff.
  • Support on field trips, providing a safe and engaging experience for children.
  • Work in a team environment, collaborating with educators and staff to achieve common goals.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and needs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education.
  • Experience is an asset, but not required.
