Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tilesetter to join our team at KS Constructions. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the installation and maintenance of tiles in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Measure and mark surfaces accurately to ensure proper tile placement.
  • Material Application: Mix and apply adhesives such as mortar, cement, and glue using hand tools.
  • Tile Setting: Position tiles with precision and apply pressure to secure them firmly.
  • Alignment: Ensure tiles are aligned and straight for a professional finish.
  • Cutting and Fitting: Use hand and power tools to cut tiles around obstacles and openings.
  • Grouting: Pack grout into joints and remove any excess for a clean look.
  • Repair Work: Replace cracked or damaged tiles as needed.
  • Mosaic Installation: Lay and set mosaic tiles to create intricate designs.
  • Stone Work: Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite tiles.
  • Cost Estimation: Assess material needs and estimate costs for projects.
  • Terra Surfaces: Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces for various applications.
  • Tile Strips: Install tile strips as part of decorative projects.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
