Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Truck Trailer Coach Repair. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Repair
    • Diagnose and repair faults and malfunctions in heavy trucks and trailers
    • Use computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
  • Maintenance and Inventory
    • Order parts and maintain inventory of spare parts
    • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work on heavy trucks and trailers
    • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Personal Suitability
    • Reliability and attention to detail are essential for this role
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Work Language: English
