Position Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate Experience Designer on a contract basis to contribute to our mission of crafting innovative digital solutions that drive client success.
Role Responsibilities
As part of a collaborative and agile team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of digital products and services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of client needs, business goals, and project specifications.
- Conducting user and market research, from initial planning to the analysis of insights.
- Engaging in brainstorming sessions and planning for digital experiences, balancing traditional methods with fresh, innovative ideas.
- Leading the creation of user personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Facilitating stakeholder and customer interviews, as well as co-creation workshops.
- Exploring opportunities across content, interaction, and technology to enhance user engagement.
- Assisting in the development of product roadmaps and defining project scopes while considering feasibility, viability, and desirability within project constraints.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a strategy-focused role within an agency or consultancy.
- A robust portfolio showcasing your design skills, thought processes, and expertise.
- Excellent communication abilities, with a talent for listening and presenting ideas effectively.
- Confidence in conducting interviews, leading presentations, and facilitating workshops.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Familiarity with UI patterns, design systems, and best practices.
- An understanding of business models and digital ecosystems, particularly in web and mobile contexts.
- Knowledge of usability principles, accessibility standards, SEO, analytics, and A/B testing.
- The ability to foster trust and collaboration as a dedicated team member committed to delivering high-quality work.
Contract Details
This position is a contract role with the potential for extension. It offers a hybrid work arrangement with a requirement for in-studio collaboration on select days.
