Working under the direction of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses, you will have key responsibilities in the individual care plan for each patient, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are supported, while promoting maximum independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, and related equipment
- Performing nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Housekeeping activities relating to maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Observing and reporting changes in patient behavior and condition
- Accompanying clients on outings and during social activities
- Performing clerical duties and delegated tasks
This is a casual opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary, and shifts may be at short notice. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.

About the Location:Coquihalla Gillis House is a client-centered facility designed to support clients' choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible.
The facility is a one-storey, stand-alone complex care facility with 74 long-term care beds. Rooms consist of four, two, and single dwelling accommodations, and are wheelchair accessible.
The location offers a unique blend of outdoor adventure, cultural charm, and western hospitality in the southern interior of British Columbia.
