Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash transactions.
  • Order merchandise and ensure our store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure our store is staffed appropriately at all times.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring our store is always well-stocked and organized.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
