About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Arken Contracting Ltd. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and paving asphalt.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Participate in the demolition of buildings and removal of rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Material Handling: Assist in the handling and storage of construction materials, including concrete forms, scaffolding, and shoring.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants.
Workplace Information
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
