Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rope Access Technician to join our team at Prostar Painting and Restoration Ltd. As a Rope Access Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks at heights, including painting, repairing, and maintaining structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Work Site Environment: You will be working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle heavy loads.
  • Work Setting: As a Rope Access Technician, you will be working on-site, often in remote locations. You must be able to travel to different job sites and work in an urban area.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Certification is required.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: You must have experience with power tools and hand tools.
  • Area of Specialization: You will be working in the construction industry.
  • Transportation and Travel: You must have a valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You must be able to distinguish between colors, have good hand-eye coordination, and be physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: You must be accurate, client-focused, and have excellent oral communication skills.
