Job Summary

Avitaj Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across international routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and obtain necessary permits and documents to transport cargo.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, ensure safety and security of cargo, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. Permanent employment with 50 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
