Position Overview

Piller's Fine Foods is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Food Processing Labourer. This position involves working in a dynamic environment focused on the production and packaging of high-quality meat products.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Work Environment

The work setting is primarily within a meat processing and/or packing facility. Employees may encounter:

  • Odours
  • Cold or refrigerated areas
  • Wet or damp conditions
Key Responsibilities

As a Food Processing Labourer, your duties will include:

  • Transporting raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies.
  • Feeding flattened boxes into machines to create containers.
  • Removing filled containers from conveyor systems.
  • Manually packing products into bags, boxes, or other types of containers.
  • Feeding and unloading processing equipment.
  • Inspecting products and packaging for quality assurance.
  • Assisting machine operators in their tasks.
  • Cleaning machinery and work areas.
Physical Requirements

This role demands:

  • Repetitive tasks
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs)
  • Ability to work under pressure
