We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide essential support in various HR functions, including payroll and benefits management. This role is designed for professional development, allowing the incumbent to grow and expand their responsibilities as they gain experience. The position will report to the Plant Manager and will have a dotted line to the Regional HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a resource for employees, addressing HR-related inquiries and collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues while maintaining confidentiality.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for hourly positions, ensuring alignment of skills and roles.
- Contribute to corporate HR initiatives, providing insights and support to the broader HR team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with corporate goals.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring effective training and orientation, as well as managing offboarding processes.
- Provide first-line support to site leadership on employee-related matters and coach supervisors on appropriate actions.
- Identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance HR operations.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities and wellness programs.
- Administer benefits, manage payroll inquiries, and maintain employee records using the HR information system.
- Support the management of STD/LTD cases and assist in return-to-work planning.
- Ensure effective communication between HR and plant management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong desire for professional growth in the HR field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is an advantage.
