Energy Systems Engineer

Position Overview:
As an Energy Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our refrigeration, steam, and ice systems. Your expertise will be vital in adhering to the relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and maintain the company’s refrigeration, steam, and ice systems in compliance with industry regulations.
- Diagnose and rectify issues in a safe and timely manner.
- Operate and oversee Freon, Ammonia, and Steam systems.
- Document readings, maintain logs, and complete necessary paperwork for boiler-room operations.
- Support the maintenance team with electrical and mechanical tasks as needed.
- Understand and comply with the regulations set forth by the Department of Labour and Boiler Inspection Branch.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a minimum of a 3rd Class or 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate, Refrigeration A, or Refrigeration B Certification or equivalent.
- Proficient in working with Freon, Ammonia, and Boiler systems.
- Able to work independently with technical equipment and complete tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in the English language is essential.
Opportunities for 3rd Class Steam time are available.
