Overview

The Role

The Enrollment Services Associate plays a crucial role in facilitating student engagement and support within the university framework. This position is vital for ensuring that prospective and current students receive comprehensive assistance regarding their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of the Service Centre, the Enrollment Services Associate will:

  • Address inquiries and provide direction to students, university members, and the public, ensuring a seamless service experience and accurate information across various domains including admissions, registration, financial aid, and academic regulations.
  • Aid in the management of each student's academic and financial documentation.
  • Process and record all forms of payment, which includes handling currency transactions, invoicing for sponsored students, and monitoring payment arrangements, while assisting students in understanding payment processes and emergency funding options.
  • Serve as the initial contact for new students, fostering an environment of effective, friendly, and reliable service with a strong emphasis on enhancing customer satisfaction through adept problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in the role of Enrollment Services Associate, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma coupled with two years of university education or a two-year diploma in Administration or Business.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in an academic setting is considered advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SCT Banner is a plus.
