**Job Summary**
The Laboratory Team Lead is a key role in our laboratory operations, responsible for the day-to-day supervision of laboratory station activities. This position reports to the Lab Supervisor and/or Manager and provides guidance to laboratory staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform laboratory technician duties as required, ensuring compliance with quality control and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship to laboratory staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate laboratory daily activities and recommendations for improvement to laboratory management.
- Maintain laboratory instrumentation, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assist in root cause analysis and provide recommendations to laboratory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the laboratory's operational needs.
**Requirements:**
- Technical diploma or degree in science, with a strong foundation in laboratory operations.
- Experience in fostering a collaborative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- 3+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in a senior role, with a strong understanding of laboratory processes.
- Ability to problem-solve, coach, and organize, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in laboratory information management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
