Livestock Farmhand

Ferme D.D. Gascon & Fils Inc is seeking a reliable and physically demanding Farm Labourer to join our team. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to animal care and farm maintenance.

• Disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses to maintain a clean and healthy environment for animals.
• Handle animals with care and attention to ensure their well-being.
• Mark livestock as proof of ownership and monitor their health.
• Perform animal grooming activities, including feeding and tending to animals.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors and forklifts.
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform general farm duties, including supervising milking operations and treating livestock health issues.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically demanding work, including handling heavy loads and working in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload.
• Organized and reliable with a quick learning ability.

Ferme D.D. Gascon & Fils Inc is a rural area farm, and the work environment is outdoors with exposure to dust and all weather conditions.

The primary language of work is English.

40 hours per week, permanent position.
