Job Summary:

The Commissary Assembler plays a crucial role in the success of Gate Gourmet's catering and provisioning services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the final assembly of trolleys in the commissary department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review flight bills to determine the required items for each flight, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assemble flights by staging trolleys according to flight number, adding headsets, hampers, and satchels as requested.
  • Push fully assembled flights into the cold room to await pickup, marking the flight complete on a board.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
  • Willingness to work 8-hour shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and overtime when required.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to extreme temperature changes and noise.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet or more, depending on aircraft.
  • Regularly standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
