Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Field Safety Coordinator, who possesses a minimum of five (5) years of relevant field experience and holds an NCSO Certification. This role is pivotal in delivering safety leadership across site activities, ensuring the provision of safe, reliable, and cost-effective services to our clients. The Field Safety Coordinator will actively engage in health and safety initiatives, enforcing safety protocols to mitigate risks at designated job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion and promote Brock's safety culture in all operational aspects.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and observations of work environments, collaborating with supervisors and teams on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on hazard and risk assessment documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Program by all personnel involved in the project.
  • Guide field crews in the effective use of the Health and Safety Manual.
  • Participate in emergency plan testing and orientation sessions.
  • Report daily safety concerns to the Safety Manager or Project Manager.
  • Facilitate and evaluate Tool Box and Weekly Safety meetings.
  • Monitor and analyze site incident trends and maintain records of incidents.
  • Oversee the implementation of Job Hazard Analysis and Safety Incentive Programs.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct field experience in a related role.
  • NCSO Certification and other relevant safety training (WHIMIS 2015, CSTS-09).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge in scaffolding, insulation, fireproofing, and painting is preferred.

This position is a contract role, with a structured shift pattern. We are committed to fostering a safe and responsible work environment.
