Financial Operations Specialist

At Ghost Kitchens, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
* Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining accurate records of our company's assets
* Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
* Post journal entries, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
* Prepare trial balance of books, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
* Reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records

**Computer and Technology Knowledge:**

* Proficient in accounting software, with experience in data entry and financial analysis
* Strong knowledge of MS Windows, with experience in using financial software

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:**

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

**Work Environment:**

* 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term
* English language required, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and terminology
