About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering linear infrastructure projects, working with municipal clients in the Greater Toronto Region and across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior engineers and project managers to deliver linear infrastructure projects, including collection, distribution, and transmission systems.
- Execute design engineering consulting services related to linear environmental infrastructure, under the supervision of senior staff.
- Support the lead designer in the detailed design of linear projects and coordinate with the wider team and other disciplines.
- Develop project plans, anticipate and address project issues, and direct the timely completion of technical deliverables.
- Communicate and interact with the project team, clients, permitting agencies, and others to achieve project success and build lasting partnerships.
Qualifications
- Registered as a P.Eng or eligible for registration within 12 months.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 4+ years of related linear water and wastewater infrastructure experience in municipal design and construction, preferably in a consulting engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in integrated 3D environment software, such as Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or BIM.
- Familiarity with water distribution, sanitary, and storm sewer system modeling and software.
- Contract administration experience, including site reviews, shop drawings, and change orders.
- Knowledge of municipal linear water, sanitary, and storm infrastructure design standards and guidelines, as well as construction best practices.
