Job Title: Quality Assurance Coordinator

Skjodt-Barrett Foods is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month contract. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our production processes and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production documents, including preparing detailed production run folders and reviewing production schedules to ensure compliance with Kosher requirements.
  • Verify quality by coordinating the timely submission of microbiological samples to our third-party microbiological lab for clearance and reviewing Critical Control Points (CCPs) to ensure all quality checks are passed before the product is cleared for release.
  • Complete reporting and participate in auditing by entering KPI and other data into the system and uploading documentation to SharePoint.
Requirements:
  • A science education or background with the ability to read and interpret scientific standards, measurements, processes, and results.
  • Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment, such as food, beverage, pharmacy, or cosmetics, with a strong understanding of quality control measures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
