Senior Logistics Analyst

Primary Function
The Transportation Analyst plays a key role in our centralized Transportation Team, responsible for facilitating the movement of goods into our manufacturing locations and from our distribution centers across North America.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the transportation carrier rate database and other associated tables and guides.
- Generate and analyze transportation KPI reports, recommending corrective action as needed.
- Perform analytical studies to evaluate financial impact opportunities on freight optimization and cost reduction.
- Create and manage carrier performance KPIs and reporting metrics.
- Update and manage multiple daily, weekly, and monthly reports, primarily using Tableau, Excel, and Power BI.
- Transportation payment analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Provide support for timely entry, audit, resolution, and payment approval of freight carrier invoices.
- Interact with freight carriers and Accounts Payable to resolve payment issues.
- Manage and maintain positive day-to-day relationships with internal and external customers.
- Work with cross-functional teams and other areas of the business to ensure full collaboration on supply chain functions and needs.
- Write statements of work as required.
- Perform other activities and projects as needed.
Role-Specific Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or Engineering.
- SAP experience is highly desirable.
- 5+ years in Transportation, Supply Chain Management.
- Strong analytical capabilities – Proficient with Tableau, Excel, Word, Access, Power BI.
- Experience in high-volume, multi-site distribution with a solid understanding of TMS/ERP Systems highly desired.
- Knowledgeable in all modes of Transportation – TL, LTL, Ocean, Air, Small Package.
- Strong Communication/Influencing skills capable of maintaining positive internal/external relationships.
- Capable of working cross-functionally with other areas of the business and providing on-site support as needed.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Industrial Engineering.
Years of Experience
Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
