Position Overview

North Lake Enterprises LTD is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the optimal performance of electrical and mechanical systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
Work Environment

The position requires working in various locations, adapting to different settings and challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints to ascertain work requirements.
  • Evaluate and monitor the electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical apparatus.
  • Utilize machining tools for the fabrication or refurbishment of parts.
  • Replace or refurbish shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components as needed.
  • Execute welding or brazing tasks on components.
  • Conduct static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors.
  • Perform machining tasks to recondition or modify shafts, commutators, or other parts.
  • Carry out on-site servicing and repairs.
  • Test and rectify faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear.
  • Assess repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical devices to confirm proper functionality.
