Overview

:

We are in search of an experienced Senior Civil CAD/BIM Coordinator to oversee our CAD/BIM division in Western Canada. This position entails managing design and drafting teams, optimizing workloads, and ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Delivery Teams with the integration of BIM methodologies.
  • Create and maintain BIM documentation throughout various phases of projects.
  • Document and track all communications related to BIM processes.
  • Deliver training on BIM software to project team members.
  • Guarantee that Project Information Models are developed in accordance with established protocols.
  • Evaluate clash detection and coordinated models.
  • Work closely with discipline leads to implement design modifications.
  • Facilitate planning and construction efforts using 4D sequencing models.
  • Prepare models for analysis of constructability.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance assessments on models and related reports.
  • Assist in the data collection and validation for the Asset Information Model.
  • Establish and manage the Common Data Environment.
  • Define the design organization and staffing requirements.
  • Review outputs for compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Provide training, perform evaluations, and offer recommendations.
  • Advise on project advancement and financial viability.
  • Engage in processes aimed at quality enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of supervisory experience in a comparable field.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Expertise in various BIM software and platforms.
  • Experience within the Canadian market is preferred.

Compensation:

Salary range is $99,600 - $185,100. We are committed to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within our workplace.
