Job Summary:The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served efficiently and effectively.
- Train and develop kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring that we are operating within our financial constraints.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Work closely with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure that food meets quality control standards.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Safe Food Handling certificate
