Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Butcher to join our team at CHUCKS STEAKHOUSE LTD.. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where precision and quality are paramount.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a large-scale food service setting, including restaurants and hotels, where they will be responsible for a variety of meat preparation tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean meats for processing and cutting.
  • Skillfully cut carcasses, sides, and quarters of meat.
  • Fulfill special meat cut requests from customers.
  • Trim and prepare standard cuts of meat for sale.
  • Wrap and package meats for display and sale.
  • Remove bones from meat as necessary.
  • Oversee and guide other butchers and meat cutters.
  • Provide training to new meat cutters.
  • Slice cooked meats for service.
