We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join our team at Fion Lounge at Microtel Antigonish. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange the bar area to create an attractive display
  • Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages
  • Clean and maintain the bar area and equipment
  • Provide recommendations on drink and food selections
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions
  • Record and balance beverage sales
  • Store and maintain inventory of beverages and food products
  • Address customer complaints and concerns
  • Enforce liquor legislation and regulations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry an asset
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Serving It Right Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
