Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transport Driver to join our team at Black Hand Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods across the country, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Logistics: Plan and coordinate transportation routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and minimizing delays.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the tractor-trailer, including checking tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including hours worked, miles driven, and cargo delivered.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a transport driver.
- Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, CPR Certificate, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate.
- Work Environment: On-the-road job, with frequent travel required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), sit for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
