About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team at CARSTAR Halifax. As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior of our vehicles are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and detail vehicles to a high standard, including vacuuming floors and cleaning interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their vehicles are returned to them in excellent condition.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the warehouse and work areas.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure vehicles meet our high standards.
  • Diagnose and repair minor faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment.
  • Operate polishing machines and pressure washers to maintain vehicles.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment.
