Island Health is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Port Hardy and Port McNeill. This is an exciting opportunity to practice rural health and provide full spectrum Primary Care to patients in the Mount Waddington region.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide longitudinal primary care to patients in the community
- Offer on-call ER coverage, averaging six to eight shifts per month
- Participate in a group practice with neighboring rural physicians
Island Health offers various remuneration models, including Fee-For-Service, Longitudinal Family Practice Payment Model, New to Practice or APP clinical service contract. Additional monetary incentives, such as medical on-call payments, are also available.
Work Environment:Our Primary Care Clinics are open Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. You will have the flexibility to work in a fully owned and operated Island Health facility.
Location:Our clinics are located in Port Hardy and Port McNeill, offering a unique opportunity to practice in a rural setting.
