Framing Team Lead

At Michaels, we're passionate about empowering creativity and innovation. As a Framing Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our custom framing department.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coach a team of framers to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive custom framing sales and increase customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure seamless execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
- Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Participate in performance management activities, talent development, and onboarding of new team members.
- Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and visual merchandising to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
- Previous custom framing experience or retail management experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames, stand for long periods, and move throughout the store.
Our public retail store setting is climate-controlled, with some stock rooms and outdoor areas that may not be climate-controlled. You'll work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
