Position Overview

Securiguard Services Ltd. is in search of dedicated and skilled professionals to join our ranks as Asset Protection Officers.

In this prestigious position, your alertness and commitment play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our retail partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and protect assets while minimizing potential losses for our retail client.
  • Conduct regular surveillance, utilizing sharp observational skills to detect and prevent theft, fraud, or other security incidents.
  • Investigate suspicious behaviors and review surveillance footage to identify security breaches.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.
  • Enforce security protocols, de-escalate conflicts, and, when required, execute lawful apprehensions to maintain a secure environment for both employees and customers.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid BC Security Worker License.
  • Preferred: Advanced Security Training (AST).
  • A minimum of 1 year of previous security experience.
  • Flexibility to work across various locations.
  • Experience in Use of Force training and apprehension will be considered advantageous.
  • A background in military, police, or law enforcement is a valuable asset.
